PERSPEX™ is very easy to clean using water with a small amount of detergent. Chamois leather is suitable for cleaning, but cloths must never be used dry. It is also very important that neither solvent nor proprietary window cleaners of any description are used to clean PERSPEX™. Proprietary acrylic polishes are available to restore the surface finish of PERSPEX™ in the event of accidental scratches and these products are available from your local PERSPEX™ supplier. Generic Polishes such as ‘Mr. Sheen’ and ‘Johnson's Pledge’ (without silicone) are ideal for polishing the surface and introducing anti static properties. ‘T-cut’ can be used to polish out fine scratching in the surface if a specialist product is not available.
